These are the terms of the Impossible Means Go™ text messaging program. They apply from the moment you give consent, and they are also summarised inside our Terms and Conditions. How we handle the number itself is covered in our Privacy Policy.

1. Program description
Impossible Means Go™ operates a recurring text messaging program for people who ask to hear from us by text. Messages fall into two kinds:
- Marketing messages — announcements of upcoming events, dates and locations, application windows, and offers.
- Informational messages — updates on an application you have already started, and event-day logistics (room, start time, schedule changes) for people attending an event.
A typical message reads:
"Impossible Means Go: doors open 8:30am Wednesday at the Wynn, Salon C. Bring the laptop you actually work on. Reply STOP to opt out."
2. How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number on our text message sign-up form and separately checking the text-message consent box. That box is unchecked by default, it is not bundled with any other permission, and submitting the form without checking it means you will not receive text messages.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is never a condition of purchase, of applying to an event, or of attending one. You can buy, apply, and attend without ever giving us a mobile number.
The text-message consent box is optional. It is unchecked by default and the form can be submitted without it — leave it alone and we save your details and never text you.
The consent wording on the form reads:
"I agree to receive recurring marketing text messages from Impossible Means Go at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. This box is optional and consent is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy."
We do not buy, rent, or import phone numbers, and we do not text anyone who has not given us their number and checked that box themselves.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. It is driven by what is actually happening — an open application window or an event you are attending produces more messages than a quiet month.
4. Cost
We do not charge you for these messages. Message and data rates may apply according to the plan you hold with your mobile carrier.
5. How to stop — STOP
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one confirmation message and then no further texts from this program. STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT are all honoured.
Opting out of texts does not remove you from our email list, and unsubscribing from email does not stop texts — the two are handled separately. To stop both, reply STOP and use the unsubscribe link in any email.

7. Carriers and delivery
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and most other US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed on every network or in every location.
8. Privacy
Your mobile number and your consent are handled under our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Opt-in data is shared only with the subcontractors that directly operate the messaging program — our SMS provider and our customer relationship management system — and only so that the messages can be sent.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS terms at any time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date. If a change materially alters what we send you, we will say so by text before it takes effect.
